   Schedule your design consultation

   Everything starts with a consultation with our team. We talk through your goals, your property, the features and style you want, your priorities and your budget, and then decide the right next steps for design and construction.

2. 02

   Step 2

   Design and 3D walk-through

   Our designers work with you to understand your vision and develop a coordinated plan for your outdoor space, including a 3D walk-through of your landscape designed around your budget, value and function goals.

   Depending on the project, design can include a site evaluation, layout, feature planning and construction documentation.

3. 03

   Step 3

   Review and refine

   You review your proposed outdoor space and refine the details before construction begins. Our team explains how any change you ask for affects the project’s scope, schedule and cost.

   Step 4

   Choose materials at our Design Center

   Our dedicated Design Center is where you explore materials, finishes, colors and design options, and see and compare your selections side by side.

5. 05

   Step 5

   Plans, permits and HOA

   We evaluate the permits and approvals your project needs, and assist with construction-ready documents and the required city and HOA submissions.

   Requirements vary by property, jurisdiction and project scope, and we explain the process that applies to yours.

6. 06

   Step 6

   Construction

   Crews are scheduled once your materials are selected, the scope of work is final, the design is signed and outside approvals are in. Timelines vary with the size and complexity of the project, and you get project-specific expectations during planning.

   We stay in regular communication throughout: frequent in-person and phone updates from your Project Manager, and weekly communication from our Office Team. If construction uncovers something unexpected, we explain what we found, the options and any effect on scope, schedule or cost before going ahead.

7. 07

   Step 7

   Handover and warranties

   When construction is complete, we take care of the final details, walk you through your features and equipment, and give you all warranties in writing.
